Been a fun week cat sitting for Romeo in Margaritaville. There is so much to do in this retirement community. We rode bikes, played tennis, played lots of ping pong! I forgot how fun that was. We might have to get a ping pong table. We ate at the bar and chill several times. It’s just a short bike ride or golf cart ride away to the town center with the restaurant, live music, and all the activities. We ate dinner at Mark and Sam’s just up the street our first night. We had dinner with several couples another night. We went to hear live music at the Salty Goat. We went to a couple of NYE parties and then watched the games at Mark and Sam’s NYD. We haven’t even had time to use Vera’s hot tub or sit on her beautiful lanai except once.We went to see Wicked the Good at pier park theaters. Tomorrow we’re going to see Housemaids since it’s gonna rain. Romeo is a good cat and loves to snuggle. He acts more like a dog, lol. We leave on Sunday, but will be back to cat sit Romeo 1/17-1/25, then Scott will go home and I’ll stay here for a girls trip with Sam, Cassi, and Leslie. We call our friend group our core four, lol. We’ll stay one night in Margaritaville at Sam’s and then we rented a condo for a few days in Gulf Place and then fly home. I wanted to try to have dinner with Lisa and Kalen while I was here this week, but it was a whirlwind. Hopefully when I come crack in a few weeks!
