Emma and Violet had a sleepover last night!

Emma's honors chorus performed last night at halftime of the high school basketball game.

It was a big game for NOHS. They played their rival school OCHS!

Keith and a few of his buddies met their high school football coach for lunch!

Look at my hot hunky husband; he's still got it:)))

The girls and I went to see the Movie, Sing... It was adorable!!!

Drove home to see this beautiful full moon staring at me!!!

Big kids took girls to dinner for my Birthday, lol!

My kids (and that includes Emily and Hayley) are so sweet!!! They offered to take me to dinner for my Birthday. I was sitting at the girls' piano lessons and told them I wouldn't be home til 6:30 and I was still in my tennis clothes. They said, go home and change and we'll pick up the girls from piano and meet you and dad at the restaurant when you're ready. I got ready and was waiting on Keith, but he was stuck in traffic and it was just getting later. It was a work night for the big kids and school night for the little ones, so I told them to go and eat without us and that would still be a treat for me not having to cook dinner:)))

Auntie B and her grandchildren having a very Merry Christmas!!!

Our eldest is about to turn the big 3-0!!! Happy Birthday my smart, fun, crazy, handsome, huge hearted boy!

Tyler decided to go back to school. He's only 2 classes away from getting a second degree. His first degree is in Agricultural Economics. His second will be in Education. He's just taking 1 class at a time since he's working. After these 2 classes, he'll have to student teach before he can actually start teaching. We're excited for him!!! He'll be turning 30 in January... wonder if that had anything to do with his decision???

How cute are our sweet neighbor's, the Kopcha's?!?

Emma rocks my infinity scarf...

Got a tiny bit of snow...

Emma's Lava Lamp Science Project for 4H Club...

Fill 1/4 of a container with water, then 3/4 with oil. Drop 10 drops of food coloring into the container and wait for all of the color to make its way through the oil and into the bottom of the container. Gently swirl to mix water and food color in the bottom. Then drop a half of an alka seltzer tablet into the bottle and watch the "lava" bubble up. Drop a whole tablet in and see a tornado effect while the lava bubbles up. We used a water bottle. If you use a coke bottle, you can put up to 6 alka seltzer tablets in. Do not put the cap on the bottle when the alka seltzer is bubbling because there is too much gas build up and it may explode. Wait for it to completely stop, then put the cap on and store the mixture. Anytime you want to activate your lava lamp, just drop in an alka seltzer tablet. For extra fun, turn of the lights and put a flashlight under the lava lamp and drop in the alka seltzer!

Another team going to state!

Just finished our mixed doubles season and my 18+ team won their division, so now, I have 4 teams going to state. Will probably only go to half of them... gets expensive! Feel honored that we get to go! But then, we live in a small town, so we swim in a smaller pool. If we lived in Atlanta, we may not get to go so often!

New Year's Eve 2016!

We are usually homebodies, but this year for NYE, we met our neighbors at Hilltop Grill for a drink and then had dinner at Sakura. After dinner, we headed back to our neighbor's house to play a few games and watch the ball drop. Fun night!!!
