Ellie and Emma's new favorite meal... Jasmine rice and stir fry chicken and fresh veggies (onions, peppers, broccoli, carrots) and fresh pineapple!

Alex has been writing a lot of amazing songs lately... his inspiration are these two ladies!

The picture below is the house Alex and Erika just moved into. It was built in the 50's and has so much charm. They absolutely love it! It's a 3 bedroom and one of the rooms is their art and music studio. Erika is an artist and still in college. Alex teaches music from home (drums, piano, guitar). He has to teach online right now because of Covid.

Lane Creek had a 4th of July Party while we were gone... Looks like fun!!!

Marge missed us soooooo...

This mama and her child greeted us in our front yard when we returned from our trip!

July 10, 2020, the anniversary of Ginger's crossing over... her birth on the other side... Dad and Dawn put fresh flowers on her grave...

Kat and her hubby Ephram! He adores her! They are at a concert on the lawn here!

Kat and I have been friends since we were 18 years old. I was the lifeguard at her pool. This girl has been through a lot and deserves to be pampered! Her sweet husband E absolutely loves her to pieces. The other night, Kat slipped and broke her ankle. E's mom is living with them. She got up to see what happened and fell and broke her wrist! E took both his wife and mother to the emergency room that night! What a nightmare!!! Kat will be on crutches for 6 months! Yikes!!!

Keith and Cathie got married 7/10/20! I'm so happy for my dear friends!!!

I actually introduced this beautiful couple to each other. I know each of their hearts and what they were looking... longing for in another. Then one day it was like I was suddenly zapped upside my head and the thought was so strong... duh, why haven't you introduced them to each other??? I know it when God slaps me upside my head! And they'll live happily ever after...

They wanted a quiet ceremony between the two of them and then they flew off to Hawaii for their honeymoon!!! Keith not only adores Cathie, but every single one of her 6 kids as well. He talks about them all the time! He's even learned sign language to communicate to her youngest son, Ray!

Universal Studios and Island's of Adventure - July 7-14,2020 - Keith, me, and the girls stayed at Lowes Sapphire Falls Resort!

After we left PCB, we headed for Orlando and stayed on one of the Universal Resort Properties for a week. It was amazing! The views from every window in the hotel were spectacular, especially the view from our room! The pool was the largest of all the resort pools and had a slide coming through the mountain. On the other side of the hotel was a lagoon that had a boat that would take you to the parks every day. It ran every 15 minutes. The hotel also had a shuttle, but we took the boat. All the Universal Parks, City Walk, as well as the other Universal Resort Hotels were all within walking distance. Normally, you can pool hop and go to the other Universal hotels pools (Hard Rock hotel plays music under water, another has a lazy river, another has 3 pools with different themes...), but because of Covid-19, they didn't allow that. Maybe next time:)))

We alternated from going to the parks and relaxing at the hotel. We bought a 3 day park pass. We opted not to go to Volcano Bay and instead, go to one of the other parks twice. After we went to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, we chose to do our third day at Islands of Adventure... there was a lot more to do there! Thankfully there were no lines, and it wasn't crowded at all because it sure was hot! We had a light shower or 2 during the day to cool us off and most of the rides were indoor and airconditioned. We had to wear masks and sanitize before and after every ride, but it was worth it.

The days we didn't go to the parks, we hung out at the hotel pool, worked out in the workout room at the hotel, played tennis at a nearby park. One day Keith and I got a couple's massage. We were wiped out by the end of every day, so we mostly got takeout and ate in the hotel room except for two nights... we ate in the outdoor restaurant by the pool.

This was one of the best vacations ever (besides the Disney and Universal trips we took with the boys when they were little). The girls were so sad to leave, but the memories will last a lifetime!
