The boys have had to rent drums in the past whenever they would have a gig downtown. They recently found a great deal on a nice set of drums and now have all the instruments they need for their band.

Father's Day!

This morning we slept in and then had a big breakfast and a late lunch. The kids all came over for Father's Day and we had a great time. They played baseball and bocci. We grilled out chicken, corn on the cobb, and baked potatoes and had some watermelon for dessert. Afterwards, the guys played a game of golf, while the girls went to the pool. Later, the guys met up with us at the pool. We ordered pizza for dinner.

My neighbor had a little friend visit her front porch

This morning, I was having coffee on my deck and I saw a mama deer and her baby walking through the woods in my back yard. I snuck inside and got my camera and the girls, but the girls only got a glimpse of them because they were already heading deeper into the woods. I got some nice pictures of my back yard, but you can't see the deer. Sometimes they come up to our window, but when I get the camera, they're gone. Yesterday, my neighbor had a little fawn curled up on her front porch. These are her pictures.

Tyler/Emily, Alex/ Laurel, and Drew/Hayley are inseparable! They are each others best buds and watch each others backs. I don't have nearly enough photos of my precious older sons and their darling girls on my blog, so I have to be sneaky and steal them off of their face book pages.
