21st Annual PCB trip with Suzanne and me and the girls...

One of Ellie's summer projects is a scavenger hunt. Yes, they not only give reading lists for summer, but apparently now they give projects. It actually made our trip down there pretty interesting. We made several stops to get pics, but it also made the trip quite a bit longer... One of the things on her list was a house over 100 years old. We stopped in Eufaula, AL for those pictures.

1st Annual Debellapalooza!

Haley Debell and her parents hosted a Lalapalooza at their home in Blairsville. Alex got a bunch of bands together from Atlanta to Athens for a mini Woodstock weekend. He should be a promoter. There was even a guy from PBS that came and filmed it. He was super impressed with all the talent and is considering doing a documentary on it! The T-shirt above shows all the bands that played. Tyler and Alex's band is Jetphase.

The bands started playing at 1:00pm in the afternoon under the pavilion and didn't stop til 11:00pm. Haley's dad grilled out hotdogs and hamburgers and everyone pitched tents on their farm near the stream. I didn't go, I was just getting back from Florida, but Keith said it was phenomenal!
