Today, Lane Creek is celebrating the seniors!

8:00-10:00 Chic-Fil-A truck came to the pool to deliver breakfast. Unfortunately they ran out of food, so Keith made us a delicious breakfast instead. 

11:00 Ellie's Virtual graduation on Youtube!

1:30 Neighborhood Quarantined Graduation Ceremony. We all bring our own chairs for social distancing.

2:15 Senior Parade. The seniors drive their decorated golf carts from the front of the neighborhood to the back as all the neighbors cheer them on!

2:45 Kona Ice truck at the pool for a tastey treat!

Ellie had to pick up her diploma at school. The teachers lined the sidewalks and clapped for them as they drove by to pick it up...

The seals on Ellie's diploma are: Fine Arts seal, AP seal, World Languages seal, and National Beta Club seal! She also picked up her stellar transcript!

The girls had virtual awards night!

Ellie's awards came with pictures since she's a graduating senior. Emma's 8th grade awards just announced her name. So proud of both girls for their academic achievements! Emma got got an award for getting all A's!

Ellie's overall GPA is 99.3 or 3.9. She won awards for BETA Club (over 60 hours of service), AP Scholar (for 3 or more AP classes), she's graduating Suma Cum Laude! And her mythology teacher said if they could give an award for mythology, she definitely earned it!

Krispy Kreme gave graduating seniors a free dozen donuts this week!

With the Corona, I'm thinking of switching from teaching swim lessons to tennis lessons this summer. I can social distance that way!

Kennon and Ellie went for a walk and when they came back in, we surprised her with a new keyboard!





















The big kids got her an Instant Pot and a Nintendo Switch Lite! Wow, so very generous of them! Those things aren't cheap!!!
