One of my tennis friend's daughter's is a flight attendant and lives in Japan. She brought back Japanese Twinkie's for the girls!

My girls, even though they are Chinese, are all about Japanese culture!!!

Emma cheered for her first time this week!!!

She chose to cheer for basketball, rather than football. It's a longer season. The girls and boys basketball teams both won! Keith and I came to watch! Emma did amazing! Her jumps and flips were awesome in the halftime routine!!!

Lane Creek Holiday Social at the clubhouse!

One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is the HOA. They have several committees in place to take care of all the different aspecs of the neighborhood. There's a pool committee, a tennis committee (I'm the chair of that one), an adult social, a kids social (they plan fall festivals, end of the year pool parties, and back to school scavenger hunts...), the garden club (I'm a volunteer for that one... we decorate the front of the neighborhood for Christmas, blow off the tennis courts, maintain the landscaping...) I love it because it brings all the neighbors together often and it makes this big neighborhood feel like a family. This month we have a holiday happy hour for adults at the clubhouse and the women have their own annual Christmas party/gift exchange. Those are always fun!!!

My dad and sisters and their families decorating for Christmas!

My dad and all my sisters live in Woodstock. They send me pictures when they all get together. Miss being close to them! But seeing the pics makes me feel like I didn't completely miss out!

Jake and his girlfriend on a date:)

This is my Aunt Betty's grandson. Looks just like his dad, my cousin Trey.

The games must go on... even in sub freezing temperatures!!!

Chinami, Patty, and Tammy!

This is Cheryl, my partner for my 18+ day team. Today we played Line 1 doubles against 2 girls who haven't lost a match all season. We beat them 6-0-6-4!!! If our team wins the next match, we are in first place and go to state. I often go to state with my 40+ and 18+ business teams, but weekday teams are a little more competitive.

In this picture, I have on leggings with a pair of pants over them, a long sleeve shirt, a vest over that, and my Columbia jacket over that. But by the end of the match all the layers are peeled off, lol.
