Tyler dropped by today!

I love it when Tyler stops by. He and Em are so busy. Tyler is still working toward his master's degree. He took some courses this summer and made A's. He said he's been working out every other day. (He's got a build like his father.) He works a part time job at Tacara Tsunami while he's in school and really loves the people he works with. He and Alex are still enjoying their band and playing several venues in Athens. Alex is working at Sandy Creek Park and is also teaching guitar lessons to some kids. Drew is still taking welding classes and loving it. Emily started back teaching for Miss Evelyn this fall. She is also in school part time. I miss her helping me teach swim lessons. For the most part, my swim lessons are winding down. I plan to be done by the end of August, just in time for tennis season to pick back up:)

Ellie has her first game today and it's a double header!

Dinner and a movie!

Ellie babysat Emma while Keith and I went on a date last night. We ate at the restaurant Tyler works at, Tacara Tsunami. The food was delicious! Then we went to see, "Into the Storm". The theater is right beside the restaurant. I was hoping the movie would be like Twister or something. Should have waited for it to come to the dollar theater. The new comfortable theater was the best part of the movie. In fact, it was so comfortable, I dosed of during the movie several times.

Pink Fluffy Unicorns Dancing on Rainbows

Whenever Emma's scared, I ask her to set her mind on a happy thought. Then I ask her what that happy thought is... She always says, "Pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows". She actually sleeps with a pink fluffy unicorn. The other night when I put her to bed, we saw a rainbow on the wall right beside her bed that we've never seen before. Emma said, "Hey look, pink fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows:"

Muffin's and Mimosa's for Moms!

The mom's at the girls' bus stop are such a sweet and fun group of ladies! We always have each others backs! Like when one of us is running late and can't get home before the bus drops off the kids. (Okay, well they always have my back:) Today we celebrated the kids going back to school with Muffin's and Mimosa's. Rene hosted it. She's always full of good ideas! She is our party planner! There were other mom's celebrating in the neighborhood as well. Posted on our neighborhood Facebook page was an invitation for all the moms to come hang out at the pool. I passed on that party. That would be like going to work for me (since I'm up there every other day teaching swim lessons).
