Piper’s room is really coming together!

Leah has amazing taste and we feed off of each other when decorating! I gave her the little wooden coat rack I painted and the dresses my mom got the girls when I brought them home from China. And the little wedding head dresses they wore as flower girls in their first wedding. It was the finishing touch to what they put over the bed!💗💗💗

Pool time for Piper!

We redid Scott’s deck

  Scott restained the deck, then we put down turf grass instead of a rug since the deck isn’t covered. We bought some furniture on Wayfair that allows you to store cushions in the waterproof side table and coffee table so pollen and rain won’t ruin them.

We also replaced all the copper LED light posts and then got some poles at Home Depot/Lowe’s, and strung lights that we got from Walmart on them. 

It’s like adding another room to the house. The trees are a natural canopy that shades most of the deck all day and creates privacy. It feels like you’re in a treehouse.

Piper is gonna be blowing up the blog for a while. First grand baby, what can I say!!!

I came home this weekend to see all my kiddo’s!

Got in Friday afternoon and cleaned the pollen off the deck. Then I helped Emma mend some shorts and wrap a gift for Rebecca’s bday. Faith came by and the girls went to Athens to celebrate Rebecca’s bday and hang with their friends. Aren’t they so cute!?! 

Keith and I ordered pizza and watched a Netflix movie while Ellie was working. She got home around 10:00, so I got a little one on one Ellie time.

Saturday, my sister Dawn, and her husband, Jim, came in town to meet Piper. She’s my only sister who hasn’t met her yet. They were so sweet to bring lunch for everyone!

After Dawn and Jim left, the girls and I headed out to go shopping. Emma needed a few things and Ellie had a list of stuff she needed for her summer abroad in Japan. 

We stopped by Wire Park to see all the big kids and their friends before we went shopping. It was such a beautiful day!

My sisters and I went to Tennessee this weekend for Betty’s visitation and to help clean out her house.

 Just look at that obituary. To me, Betty was my sweet loving aunt, but what a remarkable and brilliant woman she was! She lived a life of service to others! She will be sorely missed. ❤️🦋😢
