Twilight

Two of the biggest events of the year in Athens is Athfest (a music festival) and Twilight (a bike race). Saturday a group of my tennis friends and our husbands met downtown for dinner and then watched the bike race from the rooftop of Boars Head, and listened to their live music. One of our tennis friends was playing in the band there that night. Keith and I needed a fun night out with our friends after all the car drama this week! The weather was absolutely perfect! 

Saturday morning, we had a playoff match. We didn't get a team win, but Shannon and I won our line 6-1,6-3. Shannon is the sweet girl I'm hugging in the first picture below! Though this team didn't win playoffs for state, 4 of my other teams are going to state and we may get a wild card for this team since we were in the playoffs. Thankfully two of the playoffs are in Athens.
