Ellie and James went to the BTS world tour concert!

 It’s been Ellie’s dream for soooo long! Her entire room asa teen was filled with NTS posters and paraphernalia! And finally her dream comes true! They had to go to Baltimore Maryland to see them! Here are the pre-concert pics… I’ll add the concert pics to this post when I get them!

Ellie sent tons of videos this morning from the concert. She will only let me post one because she’s singing or screaming or crying in the others! She said it was one of the best experiences she’s ever had in her life!!!💕

Today we got the rest of the shutters put on the back bedrooms and bathroom windows!

We replaced all the blinds in the house with shutters, but we had to do it in stages. It elevates the look and makes the guest rooms feel like a cozy inn. I want my guests to feel pampered!!!

Ellie and James are enjoying some adventures before they start work and school…

 Today they went to Indianapolis to see “The Odyssey” on a 70 foot screen. Tomorrow they will go to Baltimore to see a BTS concert! Ellie’s favorite band forever! So excited for them!

Tyler just released an album on Spotify and is starting his masters in agronomy!

 Tyler released a 5 song album. He wrote every one of them and sings and plays guitar. His friend Sean also played guitar and did backup vocals. Geoff played bass, Nick played drums, Scott Andrews played some guitar, Ian played some guitar and synth. Alex played piano in the second song.

The Album is officially released I all platforms August 29, 2026. It’s called “Secret Slang”. The more listens, te more royalties he gets. Mark your calendars!

He’s working full time for UGA and loves his job! They pay for him to get his master’s, so he’s starting his master’s in Agronomy this week! He’s only taking one class at a time since he works full time.

I don’t know where he finds time to write and record an album, mountain bike, workout, play pickleball and tennis, keep a garden, raise cars and chickens, travel, get his master’s and work full time! Im super proud of him though.

Mama’s happy when all her kids and grandkids are happy!❤️

Ellie got the job!!!

 Ellie moved to Ohio a few weeks ago with James. She has been applying for jobs and the one she wanted the most was her dream job at Ohio State! She just heard yesterday that she got it!!!! She is so excited and we are all so excited for her!!!! She starts August 24 which is perfect because James’ classes start that day. They are going to see The Odyssey in Indianapolis and then go to Baltimore, Maryland to see the BTS concert tomorrow and the next day so they will get in some fun before school and work starts!

Anyway, Ellie will work for Ohio State University as their events coordinator and audio visual assistant lead at the Blackwell Inn at Ohio State University! The benefits are amazing!

The documentary Ellie worked on with her professor for her internship has a showing at the Athens film festival at Flicker this week!

 Unfortunately she’s in Ohio and won’t be there to see it! Im so proud of her!
