Spent the first night in a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge with Scott’s parents and their dear friends, Jim and Sandy.
The next day we headed to Clayton and stayed at Bridge Creek Inn. It was a nice little getaway!
Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Ellie said her orientation was so much fun! Since she’s part of the business side of the athletics department she got a free tour of the whole stadium! She got to see the locker rooms, press boxes, and presidential suite. They were some of the first to step on the new turf which was recently replaced!
Ellie also gets free OSU clothes and athletic gear from the HR department and can use their gym for free… lots of great perks with this job!
I flew out Monday-Thursday to help Ellie and James decorate their new townhome and get settled before Ellie starts work:and James starts school starts on Monday!
Ohio is beautiful! You can walk everywhere from their townhome… parks, restaurants, bars, movies, outdoor markets, amphitheaters…
The campus is absolutely beautiful and it’s enormous! There are so many gorgeous parks a d green spaces and everyone was so friendly.
I was worried about Ellie moving so far from home, but now I feel better after seeing where she lives and where she will work. And he neighbors are so kind!
We were on a time crunch, but I think we got everything they needed and got their townhome decorated to their taste! They both seem so happy, so that makes me happy! Mission accomplished!
