Tis the season for holiday parties...

My 3.5 Business team met at George's Low Country Table for dinner and a gift exchange on Sunday night.

Monday morning, my 3.5 Day team met at Cheryl's house for a potluck Christmas Party and a $25.00 gift exchange. Every year at the Christmas Party, when we walk in, we get a picture of a celebrity taped to our back. We ask each other yes or no questions and try to guess who it is. Lol, I don't think they remember, but they usually put Jennifer Aniston on my back, so I guess mine pretty quickly. We also play a game called 2 truths and a lie... or is it 2 lies and a truth??? I never can remember. Anyway, the new members that we added to our team that year have to stand up and tell 2 truths and a lie and the rest of us try to guess which one is the lie. It's a good way to get to know the newbies:))) This year, we had an ugly Christmas sweater contest. We had to wear the ugliest Christmas sweater we could find; we all looked hideous!!! Barb ended up winning. She had a champagne bottle on her sweater, but everyone had a hard time figuring out what it was. Some guessed it was a duck or a bowling pin, and when she folded her arms and you only saw the top of the champagne bottle, well, let's just say, it looked inappropriate! We got the biggest laugh out of that sweater! We had extra reason to celebrate this year. We came in 1st place this season!!!

After the Monday morning party, I had a holiday lunch party for the staff at Children First. They changed locations at the last minute and I drove around for an hour trying to find the new location before giving up. I didn't mind missing it though because I had another Holiday potluck party at the Casa house for all the volunteers that night.
