Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Saturday, I took the girls to the mall
We had lunch in the foodcourt. Mandarin Express!
Then they rode up and down the escalators a million times. Cheap ride:)
Clairs is always a must stop shop for the girls! They got matching stretchy headbands with feathers, and friendship necklaces, and a cute water bottle.
Then Ellie and I sat in massage chairs while the girls rode the motorized stuffed animals around the mall. (Ellie was sore from her riding lessons that morning and I was sore from tennis... the season has begun and my first match is tomorrow!) The girls all had so much fun! We ended the day at the mall with a cookie from the Great American Cookie Company, and warm buttery pretzel nuggets! Then when we got home the girls wanted to go for another swim, so Keith took them to the pool!
Of course, no Birthday is complete without an ice-cream cake!!!
Emma's turning 11 September 1st. She invited her friend Julia over for a sleepover this weekend!
I love that the ice-cream truck started coming to Lane Creek every Friday! Brings back sweet childhood memories!
These girls would swim forever if I let them!
After swimming the girls played wii and then had dinner. They created some pretty crazy wii characters! Lol, not sure if they had more fun creating the characters or playing the games!
Ellie Belle
Ellie has an art class... she definitely has talent!
I was talking to my tennis friend, Chinami, who happens to be Japanese, about how much my daughter loves anime (japanese cartoons and comics)! She's even listens to Japanese music and has learned the words to several Japanese songs. Chinami gave this coin purse to Ellie with Japanese coins in it. So sweet. Ellie just loves it!!!
Ellie looked so pretty for her school pictures. We used the curling wand on her hair! Emma has hers next week.
