June is the lovely lady to the left. She's been playing tennis forever and if you hit the ball anywhere in her vicinity, you just lost the point! I love her! You never have to guess what she's thinking because she will tell you. The first day I met her, she said, "I like you." And she's taken me under her wing ever since. I have a permanent spot on her 4 person drill team. Stacy, on the far right is our amazing and talented coach! She has made me fall in love with a sport that I just began 1 year ago! If she can turn me into an athlete, she can do it to anyone!!! Sweet Kelly is my ARTL partner. She is a natural athlete and barely 30 years old. She played softball for over 20 years and has more power in her pinky than I have in my whole body. You do not want her to hit you with the ball. She is amazing at the net and leaves our opponents begging for mercy when she gets an overhead shot. She is a bundle of joy from her head to her toe. This is our second season playing ARTL together (a league we play on between fall and spring COTA seasons). Friday we played a match at 8:30 am in 30 something degree weather, then went for a 30 minute run, grabbed a cup of coffee just in time to make it to tennis drills at 11:30.
