Halloween 2014

I love having Halloween on a Friday night!!! The kids were crazy excited all week! Throughout the month of October, several of the kids in the neighborhood have been changing into their costumes after school. Everyday, Emma, Brendon, Griffin, Jameson, Abby, Wesley, Nicholas, and Bodie hang out together. When they put their little heads together, they always come up with the best ideas;) A few days ago Amy and I were chatting after the kids got off the bus and then I turned to see Emma in her bathing suit doing the ice bucket challenge!!! It was about 60 degrees outside. I told her to go in and change and she came out in a tank top, shorts, and flip flops!

Halloween night, the weather was perfect fall weather. It was chilly, but not too cold! Keith's been out of town most of the week and unfortunately didn't get home until around 8:00pm on Halloween night. What a bummer! He loves to dress up and put on scary music and sit on the front porch and scare the kids. Ellie spent the night with Laurel and trick or treated with her family that night. Me and Emma went around with Matt, Amy, and T.J. and all their kids. We took the golf cart. It was great because the bigger kids want to hit every house, but the little ones can't make it that far. The neighborhood was buzzing with kids, as usual! There were lots of golf carts with parents following their kids, and I saw 2 trailers full of kids sitting on bales of hay. Hayrides are a big thing in Oconee County! There were several bon fires going with parents sitting around them handing out candy. We made a little stop at one of the bonfires that had a keg and joined them while the kids played together and traded their lute:)
