Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Pink Ladies Holiday Tennis Luncheon
Coreen, our tennis captain, invited us all over for a nice holiday lunch and gift exchange. This is only about half of our team. She served us delicious chicken salad on crescents, fresh strawberries and blueberries, asparagus, and mimosas. For dessert, she made chocolate chip cannoli that was to die for! We had Jameson, Amy's son, take pictures for us. He had my camera and just held the button down, lol. I have to say, he has a steady hand and actually got all of us in the shots. He is such a baby doll. He comes over after preschool and asks for his favorite snack... a half of peanut butter sandwich, some doritoes, and coke zero. (He had it for lunch at my house one day and now asks for it whenever he comes over). Amy said he wrote on his paper at school that his favorite meal was a peanut butter sandwich, doritoes, and coke. She was like... we never have that??? hahaha
This was my 2nd holiday party this week. The first one was at Chops and Hops, a restaurant in Watkinsville. Twenty eight of my neighbors showed up for a meal and a holiday gift exchange. It was one of those where you draw a number and can either steal a gift that someone has already opened before you or choose to open a new one. I was so excited because I drew number 28. When I stole the best gift at the table, they had a twist to this game... number one actually gets to go again. And, wouldn't you know it, she stole my gift! I was not fun on the ride home. Amy and Renee had to put up with me trying to steal their gifts... "Come on, don't you guys want to trade gifts with me. I know you want this fabulous plug in!" lol. The good news is that at the tennis holiday party, I actually drew number one. Only thing is, I loved the gift I originally opened, so I didn't want to steal anyones gift!!!
