Kids hanging out...

At lunch the kids played "gossip". It was hilarious how twisted the original message would come out! They were laughing so hard. Keith and I got a kick out of watching them! Later, they all went to rent some movies and then made rainbow loop bracelets together. It's the latest fad...

I went to Tyler and Emily's this weekend after the Christmas parade yesterday and helped them with some "decorating"... more to come on that later! Tyler just finished the 1st semester of his masters program! After Christmas break, Alex will be starting his last semester at UNG and Drew and Emily will be starting their 1st semester at Athens Tech. Haley and Laurel will be graduating UGA after spring semester!

Tyler and Alex went to record some of their music at Brennon Johnson's recording studio this weekend. They were really excited about it! The boys are pursuing their music on the side. It is their heart and soul!

2013 Watkinsville Christmas Parade

Every year we look forward to our small town parade! I think everyone in the county comes out for it. The crowd just gets bigger every year. The last few years, the girls enjoyed watching it rather than being in it. There are marching bands, floats, and gymnasts flipping down the street. There are stilt walkers, tractors, and horses... Oh and of coarse, Santa Clause! Hunting is big in Oconee County. One of the hunters put his stuffed, dead deer on a float and paraded it around. After seeing the portapotty floats the first year we attended the parade, nothing surprises me:) Emily went with us to the parade and then afterwards we went to lunch at a new chicken place they opened up in town. This is one of our favorite traditions!
