Scott and I have been dating 3 years now. We are in no rush to marry, we just want to enjoy this phase for a while.
We were sitting on back deck of the condo in Seagrove having a glass of wine and watching the sunset. We often say, what’s your best thing of the day? So we each said what our best thing was. Then I took it a step further and said, what’s your best thing this week, because we did so many fun things at the beach that week. Then I said, I think this trip might be one of my favorite trips we’ve taken this whole year. What’s your favorite thing this year? Then he stood in front of me and took my hands and pulled me out of the chair, then he got down on one knee and proposed. He was shaking he was so nervous. It was a complete surprise to me and an incredibly sweet moment. Makes me tear up thinking about it. I feel like I am the most blessed woman on the planet to have 2 of the most amazing men in my life!
