When Ellie went to Italy this past summer to study abroad, she and her group of 4 girls did a documentary of their trip. Her professor sent it to the professor in Italy who then translated it into Italian and showed a colleague. The colleague is a professor at the University of Pisa and thought it was brilliant ! He asked permission to show their film students the documentary and use it as a teaching aide!
Ellie’s professor just sent her this text!
Amazing! I want you all to know that the University of Pisa is one of the oldest universities in the world. I think there’s obvious prestige in this opportunity — your films will be seen and written about under the instruction of a published scholar. I am so proud of all of you!
