Tyler and Emily picked up Mark and Sam (Sandy) from the airport for us on Tuesday. Tyler said, mom, give me your ice bucket and 2 champagne glasses. We're gonna pick up some champagne. We want them to have a limo experience!
We always play cards when we get together!
Because of Covid, our usual crowd couldn't make it. (Nick and Rita, Nancy and Alan, Lisa, Kalen and Dennis). It's such a bummer because that is often the only time of year we get to see Keith's side of the family. Drew and Hayley celebrated the holiday with Hayley's parents in Blairsville. So this year, with Mark and Sandy joining us, we had a small crowd of 10. Keith fried the turkey and it was amazing! The rest of us pitched in and made all of our favorites. We had turkey, honey baked ham, asparagus casserole, corn casserole, green bean casserole, baked macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, deviled eggs, stuffing, yeast rolls, pigs in a blanket, cranberry sauce, peanut butter pie, pecan pie, and cheesecake. Everything was so delicious. The weather was beautiful so half of us dined at the kitchen table and the other half of us ate on the deck. After lunch everyone chilled out on the deck, then played bocci ball.
The Sires sent us a picture of their Thanksgiving!
This is Drew in Blairsville with his father-in-law for Thanksgiving! Tom and Jackie are awesome!!!
