Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

2nd Annual Chili Cook off for my 3.0 tennis team!!!
Emma and I set the table with all the fixings for the chili and put out hot pads for all the crockpots and a number in front of each. We also set out tasting cups and spoons so everyone could taste each kind of chili and vote on their favorite.
Betty made a homemade pimento cheese ball that was to die for and cut up the celery to spread it on!
I had numbers and tasting cups for the beer tasting. Everyone brought beer and chili!
We put out wine for those who don't like beer:)
I made hotdogs and mini bags of chips for the kids!
Betty baked chocolate chip and sugar cookies!
kids' mini cokes, sprites, and capri suns!
Waters for everyone!
Beer!

This is my awesome team! Unfortunately, about 6 are missing!
Correen Walker won best chili recipe and Jennifer Johnston won best beer! (Shhhh... Actually, it was a tie between mine and hers, but I voted for hers because I didn't want to give myself my own prize)... Also, I really did like her's better:)))
Wish I would have gotten pictures of all the men on the deck and all the kids playing bocci ball and corn hole on the lawn... Oh, and the kids roasting
marshmallows around the fire pit!!! It was a super fun night!
Correen (on the left) started this tradition with the 1st chili cook off. Her family is relocating to Florida next month. I'm so very sad to see her go! She was the first captain of this team and has become a very dear friend of mine! I wanted to carry on the tradition for her, but next year, I will pass on the torch to another team member!
