Tyler and Alex have changed the name of their 2-man band to TARnation! They are beginning to get their name out there. They are playing at Athens' 2nd most popular venue, 40 Watt, at the end of the month. It is right below the Georgia Theater. There are 5 bands playing that night and they are counting on each band bringing in at least 100 patrons.
Keith and I told Haley and Drew that they should join the band. Ty and Alex have asked them countless times. Haley's voice is incredible and Drew surprised us all with his deep baritone voice! He's also great on the base guitar and harmonica! Drew said, No way, he almost gets sick to his stomach for Tyler and Alex before they play. They said, if they could go behind a curtain, they'd consider it. lol.
The boys are almost done with their demo cd. A friend in Marietta is recording it for them in his studio. I can't wait to hear it. They play both original songs and covers. People seem to really like their originals! A guy approached them and asked if they would consider paying him 10% if he booked them gigs in Athens. I told them not to sign anything!!!!!!
