We had a great time with Grama and Poppy (my mom and dad)! They rented us and extra apartment for the week so we wouldn't be stacked on top of each other in their little apartment. It's unbelievable how much we packed into one week. We put together a 300 piece puzzle, played Uno and Catch phrase, went to the amazing Dunedin library, swam at the pool (I even taught 2 swim lessons while I was there), went to the beach, fished, built sand castles, collected sea shells, ran on the Pinellas Trail several times, ate She-Crab soup at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill on the beach, visited with my cousin Marcy and her adorable son Kael, went through all grama's costume jewelry and found lots of treasures, we even watched 2 seasons of "what I call" Miranda (hilarious!!!). Emma and grama baked a delicious, made from scratch, ginger bread cake that was to die for! While mom cooked some of my favorite recipes, I watched carefully and took notes. She is such a great cook! Unfortunately, I didn't inherit that gift. On Monday, Keith and Ellie met Tim and Alison halfway between us so Ellie could spend a few days with the Grimm's. They went to a waterpark and to see the movie "Brave". We had such a wonderful time with mom and dad, I didn't want it to end! The night before we left, Alex and Laurel arrived. They are going to stay about a half a week with mom and dad.
Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?
