The plan was for Scott and I to come and dogsit Friday to Friday while mark and Sam went to Nebraska to visit their families before Christmas. Unfortunately, Mark started feeling some chest pains and had to be admitted to the hospital. Originally Alex and Leah were going to come down and stay Friday-Sunday with us so we could drive over to Santa Rosa to see what part of the beach they wanted to get a get married on so they could file a permit… and also to get some ideas where guests could stay.
Since Mark and Sam had to delay their trip and we were already heading to Florida they offered Alex and Leah they’re rental condo to stay at (for a little pre-wedding gift) and Scott and I stayed with the pups while Sam went back and forth to the hospital.
Saturday we drove to Santa Rosa with Alex and Leah and looked around and had lunch. Saturday night, we went to the hospital to see Mark and we all played cards. Of course Mark won!
Sunday, Alex and Leah headed home and Scott and I took the dogs to the dog park and then Scott got a workout in the gym, then we played tennis. Since Mark was getting out of the hospital Monday, Scott and I decided to give them some time to themselves and we rented a little place in Santa Rosa and hung out there until Thursday, then headed home.
Thankfully Mark is slowly recovering and in good spirits!🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
