Keith's Class Reunion... 2020

So the flu has flown through our family this holiday season! It started with Emma, on Chirstmas, then me, over our New Years Eve trip to Lake Jocassee, then Ellie, Keith, and Poppy! Poor Poppy has really struggled. He has COPD, so it's been really rough on him!

Ellie got her wisdom teeth out the day after Christmas and when we returned from our New Year's trip to the lake, she developed an infection. She's on anitibiotics and is recovering!

Saturday, I took Ellie for her eye exam to renew her contacts and then went to a funeral for one of my tennis mates. Sooooo sad!!! Keith had a reunion at the Steamhouse in Atlanta with a few of his buddies from high school. Unfortunately, the weather kept many from coming to the event. I was just not feeling it after the funeral, so I didn't go.

Sweet teammate, Barbra Fox! What an amazing woman... Will miss her so much!!!

Keith's reunion! Wish I could have gone... Just wasn't feeling it that night. Would have loved to have seen Ken! He and Becky were with us when Keith and I eloped!!! Love that sweet man!

Jet Phase Tour... So proud of these talented boys!!!

They are definitely building a following. There were groupies they didn't even know that were singing their songs while they were traveling up the East Coast.
Check out "East Coast Tour 2020 - Jetphase" on YouTube!

Drew and Hayley's place caught fire! Thankfully everyone is fine!

Last night, while Drew and Hayley were asleep, the fuse box caught on fire. Hayley heard something and woke up Drew and he ran and got the fire extinguisher. The fire department got there pretty fast. So thankful they're ok and their stuff wasn't damaged. Owners of the house they're renting were very grateful for Drew and Hayley saving their house! Poor Diggs got scared and ran up a tree!

Turns out there was more damage than they originally thought. The fire department said if they didn't put fire out right away, the whole place would have gone down in flames in just minutes. This was the cutest little all cedar cabin!

Thankfully, Drew and Hayley were responsible enough to buy renters insurance. They had over 5,000.00 damage in their belongings due to smoke and soot. Plus, they have to move all their stuff into storage for 3 months and stay with other people until their place gets fixed. They are at Tyler and Emily's now, and of course, always have a place here with us.

Drew caught a fish!
