Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

This is the actual building he will be rappelling down! It's The Mark in Athens!

I can't seem to screen shot this right... but we are raising money for Children First

My non-profit, Children First, is having their biggest fundraiser of the year. As a board member, I'm trying to raise at least $3,000.00. I'm running an ad on facebook and trying to raise money through other venders as well... Keith has volunteered to go "Over the Edge" for Children First! This is an organization near and dear to our hearts. As many of you know, much of our lives have been devoted to advocating for children's rights and wellbeing. We have fostered 11 children as well as housed birthmothers and troubled teens over the years. We have 5 children of our own (three by birth and 2 though adoption). Please help us reach our goal of $3,000.00. If you can't donate at this time, please share on Facebook or Twitter... or even better, e-mail your friends that may be interested...

I had the most awesome dream the other night...
I was sleeping and had the most magnificent dream the other night...
I was sitting outside with my dad and all my sisters when I mentioned... I miss mom so much! Then mom walks up in an emerald green dress (I've never seen mom in emerald green). My sister Ginger, passed away when she was only 20. One of our favorite pictures of her is her wearing a gorgeous taffeta emerald green dress on the beach for a fraternity formal. She looked stunning!
In my dream, my mom was wearing the same colored dress, but it was more of the style of a mother of the bride dress... high neck and sequins... never the less, she looked stunning. Her hair was on top of her head in a bun and her smile was radiant. She looked so healthy and happy! She walked over and sat down with us. I said, "mom, I have missed you sooooo much! Then I leaned in to hug her and I actually felt her warm body hugging mine. Often in a dream, that's the point in which you wake up because it's too good to be true. But in this dream, I got in the longest, most satisfying hug ever, and even felt her rub my arm as I hugged her. When I was satisfied and told her how much I loved and missed her, I slowly woke up, but kept my eyes closed and continued to feel her rub my arm. I just had to write about this surreal experience... It only confirmed what I know to be true... She is whole and happy and at peace! Can't wait to reunite with her and all the loved ones that I miss so dearly!!!
I was talking to cousin Carol tonight, and shared this with her and she told me that I should write this down to share with my family. Bless her heart!!!
