This is what I grew up with... mom and dad dancing in the kitchen!

This is my mom and dad  dancing in my kitchen (2007) when they came to visit after we brought Emma home from China. Mom was 64 and dad was 69. Unchained Melody was playing... that was their song, and instantly they turned into teenagers again! Me and my sisters grew up with this... mom cooked dinner and then all 5 girls would clean up to music while we all danced in the kitchen. Such sweet childhood memories! They sure as heck set a high standard for us... Thanks mom and dad!

My friend, Cassie, sent me the picture at the end. It's a sign she has in her kitchen! She showed it to me after she saw this post! Apparently, her kitchen's main function is dancing as well!!! Lol, I love it!

 

This little one, our eldest daughter, works at Mama' Nings! She rocks the Thai pants and skirts they gave her for work!

This precious child/young adult seems to just glow... she is growing up into such an amazingly beautiful, kind, compassionate, and intelligent human being!!!  She's beyond mature for her age! And to top it off, joy just seems to pour out of her pores! 

 

My 4.0 team ended our season with going to a women's UGA match together! Afterwards, Shannon and I met a few of our other friends from our old 3.5 team for dinner and drinks at Paloma Park!

Mom and Dad moved to Clearwater Beach when dad retired and dad started a Reel and Tackle business. When we would come to visit, they would take us to "Frenchie's"! OMG, the she-crab soup there was to die for!!! So many sweet memories!!! My dad was 71 in this picture! I hope I get his genes!!!
