Alex got a job giving private music lessons at Stuever Studios

Alex was offered the program coordinator position at Camp Ocean Pines in California, but decided he would stick around Athens instead to continue building his clientele at Stuever Studios. He also has a summer job lined up to be a nanny, or should I say, a Manny. He'll be watching the kids from 7-3 Monday-Friday and working at the studio after that and still be able to play in his band at night.

Pre-piano recital pizza movie party!!!

The girls' piano teacher, Miss Wendy, had a rehearsal party for her students beginning with having them perform for one another and ending with pizza and a movie on the big screen!!!

Tarskins at Flickers!

Tyler and Alex changed the name of their band to Tarskins for now, since Tarnation was taken by another band. They played at Flickers on Friday night. Keith went downtown to listen to them! Tyler and his friends started arm wrestling after they finished their set and Ty beat them all. Then his friends wanted Keith to wrestle him and started chanting Keith, Keith, Keith, Keith... Keith declined and said he didn't want to embarrass himself:)

Emma won the 3rd grade typing contest for the most pages typed!!!

Could someone please turn out the lights, I'm trying to take a nap!

Georgia Theater Rooftop Bar and Grill

Brennan Johnson got a gig at the rooftop and asked Alex to be his drummer for the night. He also called Tyler up on stage to perform a few songs with him. Brennan and the boys have been friends since Brennan was 4 years old (Ty was 3). Brennan taught Tyler how to play the cords on his first guitar. When they were about 16-17, the two of them put on a concert in the cul de sac for our neighbors in Marietta. They set up a stage and sound system with microphones... and played a bunch of covers and also songs they wrote. Pretty impressive! The boys haven't left the stage since:)

Go Team Vic

One of my tennis buddies, Connie Ondo, has a 20 year old daughter with bone cancer. We all had Team Vic t-shirts made to wear when we play Connie's team to support her sweet daughter!
