The day started with Chic-Fil-A serving breakfast at the pool from 8-10am. Then we all watched the virtual ceremony from our homes at 11:00am. At 1:30 we met on a neighbor's lawn for a "Neighborhood Quaranteened Graduation Ceremony". Luckily, the NOHS Principal, as well as the Class Valedictorian, live in our neighborhood, so we had a pretty stellar ceremony with touching speeches! After the ceremony we had a parade with all the seniors driving down the road in their decorated golf carts, trucks, and cars. We finished the day with a Kona Ice truck at the pool.
I feel so lucky to live in this neighborhood! We always support each other with whatever life throws us!
