Finally... we got lights on our courts in Lane Creek! My neighbor, Larry, and I have been fighting for this for the last 3 years!!!

My mom's baby brother passed away this week. He was an amazing uncle! I adored him and will miss him like crazy!!!

Life is good!

I recently decided to roll off the board of Children First after serving a 3 year term, but I am still a huge advocate for CF!!!

I love this organization because it provides CASA's (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for children in the foster care system that don't have a voice! Every child in the foster care system should have an advocate/gardian angel to look over their shoulder and follow them throughout their journey in the foster care system to insure their safety and wellbeing. We need CASA volunteers as well as donations to fund this amazing program! Anything you can do to help will make a difference in these children's lives!

Our neighborhood had a social distancing Adult Social last night... They served hamburgers and chips and our neighborhood band played!

We celebrated Father's day for Keith and Poppy at Drew and Hayley's Saturday afternoon. We had Mexican and Margaritas for lunch and had a ton of fun!!!

Drew and Hayley rescued 3 mallards. Drew built a home for them outside. They have grown so much. They are hoping the ducks will lay eggs for them. While drew was cleaning out their water, one of the ducks flew away. All the boys chased him all over the horse pastures. The next morning, the lady that boards horses found him in the hay shed. Hayley went over and caught him with her bare hands!!! Quackie Chan is now safe back at home with his clan!!! I love happy endings!

After the great duck escape, Tyler tried to find out why Drew and Hayley's water pressure was so low. He dug near the water main and hit a pipe and it broke. Lol, never a dull moment when this crew gets together. The 'dirty boys' ran to Lowes and got some parts and repaired it.















Boys will be boys... it takes like 100 snaps to get 1 decent picture, lol!
