Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Mother's Day 2019
It was a nice relaxing Mother's Day weekend. I went to a UGA match with my friends on Saturday. Sunday, I sat in my pj's and watched movies til noon; then decided to clean the pollen off my deck and put out the cushions. All of my sweet children sent texts, cards, and phone calls. Later on, Alex and Erica dropped by for a little visit. While we were sitting at the table playing cards, 2 red birds flew by the window and caught my eye. Then I noticed the beaurtiful black, blue, and orange butterfly sitting on the railing of my deck. Same kind that surrounded me all spring and summer last year...
Aunt Betty got to spend Mother's Day with her grandchildren! My dad and sisters went to brunch at the clubhouse in Natalie's neighborhood, then watched old home movies. Dad is going through his stuff and cleaning out. He found an old list that mom had when they used to go camping years ago... She used to have a master list for camping and just go down the list and check things off. I have one too, for trips to the beach and trips to state tournaments. That way, I don't have to make a list ever time I travel, and I don't worry about forgetting anything:)))

Drew and Nina Grimm got married this weekend!
The Grimm's youngest son, Drew, got married just one week after our youngest son, Drew, got married! It's surreal seeing all our kids grow up and get married!!! Their wedding was in Jasper on a farm and was just beautiful! Tim, Drew's dad, officiated the wedding and did an awesome job!!! All our girls had a great time dancing and catching up!
Ellie wrote a story in her Lit Magazine...
Ellie Bellie had her first flat tire...
So proud of her! She called AAA and they came out to put on a spare, but her spare had a leaky valve, so she had to get it towed to the tire place. However, when the guy came out to tow her car, he saw a nail in the tire and was able to plug it for her. He said, "This is what they will do at the tire place, no need to tow your car, I can fix it!"What a great guy! We will still replace her 2 back tires this weekend since they are getting bald.
Starting to book swim lessons for the summer... It's filling up fast!
