Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Meet Remington (Remi for short)
Drew and Hayley got a new pup. He's part golden retriever, part poodle. They got him from a breeder. He doesn't shed because he's part poodle. He is just precious!!! Notice where Remi fell asleep. Right at Keith's feet. Dogs love Keith's strong and calm demeanor.
Ellie played "Lost Boys" on Mrs. Wendi's baby grand Wednesday at her lesson and it brought tears to my eyes...
I can't believe how much the girls have learned in such a short time. Ellie has taken piano lessons for 2 years now and Emma for 1 year and I am amazed. The other day, Mrs. Wendi said that she gave Ellie a piece of music that she gives her college students who have been with her since they were little. She said she just wanted to challenge her and see her potential. Mrs. Wendi was amazed when she heard Ellie play it. She said, Ellie has far exceeded her expectations. This piece that Ellie is playing now is 8 pages. Emma is doing amazingly well too! She doesn't sound like a 1st year student. She puts so much feeling into her music, it gives me chills. So proud of both of the girls and kudos to Mrs. Wendi!!!

Ellie and Ben went to dinner at Dominicks and then to the Homecoming Dance!!!
Bought a ball machine from my friend Corrine! Emma and I played with it for 4 1/2 hours the first day we took it out!!!
You can set the speed so you can hit hard, fast balls, or slower, softer balls. You can make it feed you high lobs or groundstrokes. You can make it alternate sides or just hit to one side if you want to concentrate on your forehand or backhand. If you come to the net, you can practice your volleys! I love my lobster. It never gets tired:)))
