Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Keith and I met my mixed doubles team at the Foundry to listen to a Motown band...
Mixed doubles is level 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 men and women playing together for a combined level of 7.0 players. Since I'm a 3.0, I play with a 4.0 male against a 3.5 man and woman or a 3.0 and 4.0 man and woman. It is so much fun with lots of teasing and smack talk back and forth. The team I recently joined has been together for years and act like a family. They love Keith! I wish Keith's knees allowed him to play with me, but it hurts him too much! The men that play in this league are very respectful and don't attack the women with overheads. They mostly hit hard to the men and aim their overheads away from the women. Thank goodness because their overheads could kill you if they hit you!!! It's great for my game because I'm learning to return super hard serves and hit balls with pace, so when I play in my regular matches against a woman with pace, I know how to get the ball back:)))
I love Marge and she loves me. I'm gonna steal her from Drew and Hayley when they move out!!!
She sleeps at my feet at night and when I get ready in the morning, she comes in there for some loving and then naps in her nest/my sink. If she wants something, she always comes and gets me to let her out or give her food, water, or some loving. She often leaves me gifts at the door. And they are still warm...

Mother's Day 2016!
On Mother's Day, Tyler and Emily hung out with the Pierce's. The rest of the gang went to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast. Later that afternoon, we went to the pool. Keith picked up some jumbo shrimp from Publix, and we had broiled shrimp, baked potatoes, corn on the cobb, and salad for dinner!!!
Sweet cards from the girls...
Again, wish I could have been 2 places at once... My beautiful mother was surrounded by the rest of my family in Woodstock for Mother's Day!!!
Our 3.0 18+ Day Team went to state in Rome, GA and came in 3rd!!!
This is the team I started with... my very first team! They say, you always remember your first team! Several of my teams are going to state this season, but I decided to just go with 1 or 2. (Can get a little expensive, plus, I'm a bit of a homebody...) Choosing to go with this team was a no-brainer! While I was there, I ran into one of my other teams that was at state! (My 3.0, 40+, business league.) Love those ladies, but couldn't be 2 places at once!
We all carpooled to Rome on Thursday evening. Correen made us these adorable flip flops for us to wear between our matches. We fought hard on Friday, but could not prevail against the strong Atlanta teams! Friday night, we were too lazy to go to the BBQ/players party and decided to order outback in the room and have a dance party instead. Lol, just what we needed after our first intense day of matches. Saturday, we kicked butt!!! We ended up coming in 3rd place! What a fun girls weekend! It brought our team even closer!!!
