Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Sea World / Disney Vacation 2010
College spring break was this week. Tyler and Emily took their spring break at Emily's parents' condo in Destin. The girls spring break isn't for another month, but we took it early to beat the Orlando crowds. The Grimms live only an hour and a half from Orlando so we stayed with them for 2 days and had a wonderful visit. Ellie and Alison kept saying, "I miss you so much". It was really sweet and they had such a ball together. Then we went to Orlando where Alex, Drew and Nick met us. We all stayed at the Clarion Water Park Resort. It had water slides and a lazy river and it was all heated! They also had activities and crafts for the kids. It was close to both Disney World and Sea World.
The first day we went to Disney World. The girls were in awe when we walked through the gates. The looks on their faces, Keith and I will never forget... it was priceless! Alex, Drew, and Nick went along too. I don't think you're ever too old for Disney World. The girls loved the Buzz Light Year ride and of coarse It's a Small World, but Ellie's favorite was Mickey's Magic 3-D show that actually sprayed us with water droplets and Emma's favorite was Winnie the Pooh.
The next day Keith and I and the girls went to Sea World. When we got there they gave us 4 free tickets to use within the next 7 days, so Keith and the boys went back the next day while the girls and I hung out at the water park at the hotel. Sea World was great! The shows were spectacular and there were lots of things to see and do for both younger and older kids. The guys all loved the big roller coasters and the girls loved the little roller coasters and rides.
My mom and dad live only 2 hours away from Orlando and my dad just had hip surgery, so we were able to visit with them for a couple of days. It rained those two days, but that was fine because we were exhausted and ready to chill. Well, not the boys... they went to the beach both days anyway! Drew is going back to Florida this week to work for dad (poppy) and help out while he's recovering from his surgery. My dad owns a rod and reel business and won't be able to leave the house for about a month. Drew's really excited about it!
I posted pictures of everything except our visit with the Grimms. Emma unfortunately got a hold of my camera and started pushing buttons and deleted them all. Bummer, but at least we have the memories...
