South Padre Island, TX

 My friend, Leslie, that has a home on Lake Okiboji in Iowa, bought a second home for the winter in South Padre and invited Sam, Cassi, and me down for a girls’ trip! Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. It was rainy, windy, and cold every day, but the company was delightful. These ladies are the salt of the earth and it’s always healing spending time with them!

Scott and I went to Woodstock to a Prince cover band concert at Madlife with my sisters and their husbands. We had a ball. Then we slept and my sister Jeannie’s and had a big family get together for lunch the next day and I finally got to meet my nephew‘a new baby, Waylon! He is so precious. He’s 3 months and 15 lbs! Drew and Hayley and Emma and her boyfriend, Sam came to Woodstock to see the family and meet Waylon!
