Keith starts his new position next week!

Keith was in SanDiego for his annual National Sales Meeting last week. Unfortunately every time he flies, he seems to get sick. He and Ellie are both down with a bad cold/flu.

Keith has traveled for many years with his job and traveling is not his favorite. He tried an in house position that didn’t pay well, and also a management position that was incredibly stressful, so he went back into the field which required travel. Then recently a position opened up to train field guys, but he was overqualified. Instead they offered him a job in research and development. He has always been interested in that. It’s an in house position, so no travel, and it’s a lead position which will turn into a management position, but he won’t manage field guys, he’ll be manager over research and development. I’m so proud of him and so very happy for him. He turned down a great offer years ago in Alabama because it wasn’t a good time for our family to move. He has always sacrificed so much for us. I’m beyond thrilled for him. He deserves every ounce of happiness that comes his way!

Scott and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary at Bottles and Bones last night.

The food was amazing. We started with fried lobster bites for an appetizer, then had filet mignon, loaded baked potatoes, and brussel sprouts! The only downside was that the table was too high for the benches. We asked the waitress if all the tables were like this. She said, yes, unfortunately, but if you scoot to the far end, it’s a little better. We felt like little kids that could barely reach the table!🤣😂🤣

Figuring out the automatic vacuum

Scott’s kids got him an automatic vaccine for his Birthday in September. We have been trying to figure it out ever since, lol! His living room is basically the dog room. They have beds and toys in there and love to look out the windows. With 3 dogs, he vacuums every other day. Hopefully, if we can get this to work, it will be a big help. We have to map out the parameters of each room, then we can tell the vacuum which room to go in.

Sadie loves me, lol. She’s adopted me as her mama!

3rd trip to TN to see Aunt Betty (I call her AB)

AB is such a trooper! She somehow stays positive through it all! My sisters and one of her students, Jennifer, who is more like a niece to her, are all rotating taking turns caring for her. Aunt Betty was a teacher and Jen was one of her students from 6th grade. Jen is like family to her (and us). Betty and several of her students keep in contact to this day, and she is 84! It’s amazing the impact she’s had on so many lives!!! Also, her grandsons’, Jake and Shaw, and their mom, Cathy, and stepdad, Rob, are the wind beneath her wings and are always there for her. They are her heart! I love my AB!!! She can’t hear with her ears, but hears with her heart! (Many will overlook her wisdom. But for those who have ears, will hear!)
