Santa loves to give the girls a puzzle every year!

After Christmas, we leave the puzzle on the table and work on it over the rest of Christmas break… 

Today Alex and Emma got it started… tonight, me and Emma will spend some time on it together after her shift at work… Someone else will fill in the pieces tomorrow! Maybe Ellie and James???

Christmas Eve, Keith and Tyler and Emily came over…

I made a big pot of chicken and dumplings and Emily made homemade bread, stuffed cucumbers, and sausage balls, so yummy! While I made dinner, Keith and Tyler played guitar and Emma played her ukulele.

After dinner we played family feud, and Tyler did a great impression of Steve Harvey! He stayed in character the whole time!😂 Keith and Emma teamed up against me and Emily and killed us, lol! 

Then Keith headed home, but the rest of us were foolish enough to brave the low temperatures and go to the Christmas lights since this will be their last year putting them up. This marks 18 years that we’ve taken the kids to see them.

Christmas morning, Keith came back over and we cooked the kids a big breakfast, watched Polar Express, sat around the fire, and opened gifts. It was an amazing Christmas! Drew and Hayley were in Blairsville visiting her family, and Alex was in Mississippi visiting his girlfriend, Leah’s family.

Tyler and Emily spent Christmas Day with her family in Blueridge.

Kept Luna for Alex for a few days…

 

Girls both work as servers at a Thai restaurant in downtown Watkinsville! Tonight was their Christmas Party!

 Korean BBQ dinner and karaoke… Dress attire was red carpet!

After 18 years, our yard needed some TLC. Hired a landscape designer and it’s never looked so good!

 Can’t wait until the grass turns green and we can replace shrubs that died. 

Faith and Emma finished up the Christmas goodies today:haystacks and turtles!

 Tomorrow Ellie and Emma will take them to our neighbors in our cul de sac and, of course, to the Bushes up the street!
