Fun Memorial Day weekend…

Played tennis, worked out and went for a run, then to the pool on Friday. Saturday, breakfast with Emma before sending her off with her friend Faith, to Sunset beach for 2 weeks. Then Sunday, I went to Asheville to visit a friend… we played some tennis, then went to Sierra Nevada Brewery and listened to an outdoor concert, then drove around to look at the beautiful Mountain View’s!

Monday I went to Innovation amphitheater with my neighbor to see ARS and Eagles cover band!

Today Ellie and I are going to lunch and then come back and binge watch Stranger Things!!!

My sister, Jeannie, babysits sweet Scarlet a few days a week…

Emma got her first job!!!

 Emma had 2 interviews with Taqueria Tsunami for hostess position this summer and she was hired right away!!!

My baby boy Drew slept over the other night when Hayley was out of town! He brought me these beautiful flowers!❤️

Began the evening celebrating a neighbors Birthday at a poolside BBQ, then ended the evening at another neighbors house when we found out she tragically lost her husband.

Life is full of twists and turns…

Smart Emma received an award in Latin for awards night!!!

 

Went to Alabama to visit Kat and E this weekend…

 I arrived Friday afternoon! We went to dinner and to listen to Kat and E’s friends’ 2 man band Friday night. Saturday, we strolled through a cool flea market in Birmingham, followed by blueberry mimosas and brunch at the red slipper, then shopped at The Summit that afternoon! We grabbed a nap and ordered pizza, then went back out on Saturday night with their friends to listen to live music at several venues! We had a fun packed weekend!!!

Incredibly sad news… Brennan Johnson passed away…

 I’ve known Brennan since he was 4 years old! That gleam in his eye… so full of mischief and fun! When Tyler and Brennan got together it was always double trouble. He was one of my crazy boys, so full of life! My 3 sons saw him as a brother! 

Brennan inspired my boys with his passion for singing and playing guitar! He taught Tyler how to play the chords and inspired him to pick up the guitar. And the domino effect was amazing! Tyler sings, writes music, and plays guitar. Alex plays multiple instruments, sings, and writes as well! Both boys are in several bands! Drew can play and sing. He chooses not to preform, but writes songs for and with his brothers.

Tyler and Brennan chose each other to be their “best man” at their weddings! This week Ty and Brennan planned to go biking together and Alex and Brennan had a show planned in Atlanta… their lives were so intertwined!

Brennan had a beautiful wife and two gorgeous children! He was so close to his parents and adored his 2 sisters! I’m struggling to comprehend this tragedy…
