Ellie went to a Great Gadsby Party this past weekend! She really rocks the 20's style!!!

I'm so proud of her, she seems to have such a healthy balanced life... (school, work, social, and workout) Not sure I was quite so balanced at her age, lol! She is such a happy-go-lucky girl, but also, an incredibly smart lady, and an amazingly hard worker... Not only does she have a heart of gold, but this sweet girl's middle name is "Grace" for a reason! She is full of it!!!

Drew and Hayley finally found a house!!! I'm so happy for them!!!

Drew and Hayley just bought a house on several acres in Athens! It is so adorable! Drew is a handyman and can do just about anything. I'm beyond excited for them and their next round of adventures!!! They got a great deal in a terrible market and are excited to have a fixer upper that they can make their very own!!! Drew has a carpentry and welding background and has always wanted to make his own furniture. This place has an amazing basement for him to be creative and explore his talents! 

 

Keith took Ellie to the Georgia Aquarium over her college spring break!

 I went with her over the summer... It is one of her favorite places. She couldn't decide if she wanted to be a marine biologist or film maker/writer/producer... She is going for the latter in her studies. She just got an A today on a script she wrote. Her imagination amazes me!!!

Emma got another EPOCS award! This time in math! Smart girl!!!

 

I took Emma and Faith to Choo Choo's in Athens on Friday night! They are a yummy fast-food Japanese restaurant!!!

Look whose got a car??? Little Miss Emma (#sweet16princess) got a Saab! Leather and heated seats!

It's a used 2005 Saab, but with only 97,000 miles! We got an amazing deal and had it checked out by a machanic! It fits her like a glove and she loves it! It drives "smooth like butter" 1st cars are for bumps and dents and lots of metal to keep you safe! She will just go to and from school for the first several months. It's about 5-7 minutes from home! OMG, this is my last of 5 children going through all the stages of growing up and becoming independent... Very emotional. I had my first child 2 days before I turned 22 and I'm 57. I have been parenting for about 35 years and it is still my passion! My youngest is 16 and in 10th grade. I'm embracing every moment with my last child and I love the bonding that all my children have. Keith and I have been texting with all the kids all night about Emma getting her liscence. Anytime something comes up to celebrate or pray for, the whole family gets on a group text and we text back and forth all night. This is one of the positive things about technology. It feels like I'm with Keith, Ty and Em, Alex and Erika, Drew and Hay, Ellie and Emma... We share in all the joy's and tragedy's. (#nothinglikefamily)

Went to PCB this week to dogsit for Mark and Sam while they went to Vegas!!!

Mark and Sam left me a "100.00 bill ya'll"!  But notice the "weight" it was under! I figured I'd better pull my weight while they're gone, lol!!! (cinderelly cinderelly) lol!

Blue skies for 2 hours the day after I arrived, then rain/storms everyday after that!

Florida is so bipolar! I was like,Yay, the sun, then by the time I got out to the pool, there was a wind storm, and then major clouds...

So I figured baby dog time and Netflix was another amazing option for me to spend some time alone!!!

Then, sam came in town Thursday and we went to 2 karaoke bars! 1st one closed the kitchen early and then closed Karaoki at 10, so we grabbed a happy meal at McD's, then went to Donavan's karaoke! They stay open later and have some seriously amazing singers there. Like, they should be on The Voice!!!

Didn't realize it was spring break for South Carolina kids, but they loved us and danced with us all night!!!

Then Saturday Sam and I chilled with wine and Netflix!!!

Their place is my therapy!!! It's my happy place to de-stress, then come home refreshed and ready to deal with my sweet teeanage dream gals!!! Ellie and Emma , you're welcome!!! Keith and girls had some great daddy/daughter time while I was away. Emma said, "I feel so close to dad these days". I think their time together is more quality time. That's her love language... spending time together!
