I hired Drew and Alex to paint Ellie's room and put up shiplap on the back wall! They did an amazing job! I still need to decorate with pictures...

Ellie's room will be a guest room when she goes off to college next year. So as I redecorated her room, I left the things in there that were meaningful to her. She will take her posters, piano, stuffed animals, and collage over her bed when she moves out. If she wants the cherry bed and side tables that were my mom's, she can take those too.

I'm a hugger by nature... physical touch is my love language! I'm so sorry to those I have violated, lol!

 

Girls had a sleepover with Keith Saturday night!

Girl's slept over Keith's Saturday night! They met Drew and Hayley, and Alex and Erica, at the bowling alley, then Keith took the girls to Amici's for dinner. Later, they all met at Southern Brewing Company to see Tyler's band, Jetphase! They had such a blast! That makes my heart sooooo happy!!! That's how he wanted to celebrate his 59th Birthday this year! 

 

These are my bag tags and City Champion Awards I received.

When your team goes to state you get a bag tag. Our USTA/COTA teams have been to state several times. I haven't been playing ALTA but only a couple years, we play a lot of teams in Atlanta you get a bag tag for winning your division in Alta. Two of my teams won their division this year. You also get another bag tag, a large ALTA plate, and a car magnet if you win City Champion. One of my teams won City Champ this year!

 

Winter Break was Friday-Monday

Emma and Faith had a double sleepover here Thursday and Friday night! They also dyed their hair! Ahhh, to be 16 again...

 

We met at Jeannie's and had some appitazer's (we each had our own tiny charcuterie board's) before heading to the Prince cover band concert!

Sister weekend's are always a blast! Saturday we met at Jeannie's to celebrate her Birthday! 

 

Kat and Ephram came in town for a short visit this weekend. We packed in a lot of fun in just a short amount of time!!!

They got in late Friday night. Saturday we had a big breakfast and then went downtown and shopped and had lunch. Ephram took a nap when we got back and Kat and I went for a golf cart ride and caught each other up on our crazy lives! Around 6:30 we dropped by my friend, Stacy Hedrick's, Galentine's Party in the neighborhood. Then Kat, Ephram, and I went to Boarshead to listen to some live music!

 

Emma and her friend's Rebecca and Faith came over for Galentine's weekend and they all cut their lovely locks!

 

Kat and I went on a golfcart ride and saw Evelyn, one of my little swimmers I coached. I asked this little princess if she'd be my galentine?!?

 

I took Emma to the Billie Eilish concert!!!

This must be Emma's month because not only did she get her drivers license, but she went to her 1st concert! Emma absolutely loves Billie Eilish!!! We bought the tickets last summer and she has been eagerly anticipating this concert! We definitely got our money's worth! Billie put on a fantastic show and we had the best seats ever!!! There was one row around the arena with soft cushioned chairs and a bar to put your food and drinks on. I said, "Wow, whose the lucky ones to get those seats?" Then I asked the usher where our seats were and she said, "Right here!" Emma and I just looked at each other like, "OMG, we're the lucky ones that get these nice seats!" There was plenty of room to stand up and dance and jump around... and we did! We had the best time! Keith was so sweet to drive us there and pick us up! I know Atlanta is not his scene, but he made the most of it. He took Ellie to dinner in Atlanta for a father/daughter night while Emma and I had a mother/daughter night! #sogratefulforalltheblessings!!!

 

Emma got her driver's license today!!!
