Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Emma and Evan at the MBMS football game and then the Big Bash afterwards!
This afternoon, Emma and Evan went to see a scary movie, "IT: Chapter 2"!
Kennan and Ellie went on a date this weekend too. They went to dinner and watched movies at his house, then hung out here for a while and went on a golf cart ride.
Today we took pictures of Ellie to submit to the yearbook for her senior casual photo. Here are a few of our favorites...
Ellie is so photogenic, it was hard to choose just one photo for her senior casual. We ended up choosing the last one where she's hugging her legs. Next week, she will get her picture in her senior drape.
I also wrote a piece for her senior ad. She gets 1/2 page in her honor for being on yearbook staff. Others have to pay 150.00 to get a half page ad. They ask you to submit up to 100 word text and 6 photo's. This is what I submitted:

Ellie,
Our little dreamer… What a magnificent imagination you’ve been blessed with. Your creativity shines through everything you do. Often, I’d pull into the driveway to see it covered in countless quotes and colorful chalk drawings. Your enthusiasm, wonder, and beautiful smile lights up the world. You have a sweet, calming presence and a heart full of compassion, kindness, and grace. You are an old soul, wise beyond your years. You project beauty onto everything you see… where some see a weed, you see a flower. You have blessed our lives immeasurably! We adore you!

Deer ghosts!
Keith, me, dad (poppy), and the girls were looking out the window at this precious deer family late this afternoon. The daddy deer with velvet antlers was on the left, the mama was in the middle, and their baby was on the right. A few months ago, Dad/Poppy and I were sitting on the deck, and after putting out deer corn. I told him my butterfly stories of mom visiting me in the form of a particular butterfly. He said, I want mom and Ginger to come and visit us in the form of a mama and baby deer... Fast forward to today!
I asked Keith to take a picture of the sweet little deer family. When he sent me the pics he took, I froze! In the picture, the dad looks solid, but the mama and baby look like ghosts!
Just happened to come across this picture on FB...
Me, Jeannie, and Ginger. Oh how I miss my sweet lil sis. She passed away when she was only 20! What a sweet, bubbly, kind hearted soul she was! All my friends used to say, is she this happy all the time??? I would always say, YEP! What a gift and a blessing she was to everyone she encountered. She was pure joy! I love you sis!!!
Emma looked at each of us and said, "Wow, you and Jeannie look like twins and Ginger and Natalie could be twins!!!"
