Cathy, Rob, Jake, and Shaw... Trey's boys are growing so fast!

Tried to make one of my dad's favorites... but can't quite cook like my mom!

It's creamed chipped beef over biscuits. I got the recipe for the cream sauce from Jeannie.

Our neighbors unrolled their umbrella after coming back from vacation and there was a bat in there!

We saw a mama and her baby last night... maybe it was mom and Ginger (Ginger passed 7/10/89... 30 years ago)

Sweet Pricilla made us cakes tonight!

One of my swim mom's, Pricilla, made us amazing cakes tonight. She is such a sweetheart! And we adore her precious daughter, Sophia! They are from Brazille and just moved in the neighborhood. She wanted to thank us for swim lessons. Her cakes are to die for!!! So moist and out of this world!

Updated the house a little...

These were my old curtains that the cat scratched up! They were shorter, so I had to hang them below the transom and they always got in the way of the door.



Then Jeannie changed her decor and gave me her old curtains (really nice), and they worked perfectly in my living room! I got a thicker rod and bigger rings and hung them higher!











She also found these pictures in her attic from mom and dad's old house and they work great over my bed! Also got these bedside tables and desk from mom and dad's. Dad moved in the guest room / my old office, so I moved my office into my bedroom! I hung the girls' portrait over my desk!

Grimm's came through for a quick visit Friday on their way to South Carolina...

Alison is starting her own swim lesson business and came down to shadow me for a day. She's great with kids and is a natural! It was great to see the girls all together again... it's like no time has passed!

It was so good to spend some time together, even if it was for (what felt like) a split second. At least we got to grab a bite of dinner together before they headed out. The next day, Poppy basically told me I made a pig of myself. Haha, I gobbled down my food and everyone else's leftovers:) I guess I'm a growing girl, lol! Everyone eats like birds...  I'm like, "Tim, Ya gonna finish that?" "Jenny, you gonna let that go to waste?" Lol, dad doesn't realize we're family and families eat off of each others plates! I'm always ravished after I teach swim lessons:)))

Tyler's band is amazing! Who knows where they will go... who cares? They are loving what they do and that is truely living life!!! (Proud mama!)
