Emma's 2015 Snow Flip Performance!

Emma had her first gymnastics performance today! She did so well! She is so graceful and limber... I video taped most of the performance and then half way through I thought to ask Keith and Ellie to take pictures since I was video taping. So I don't have any still shots of her on the bars or balance beam:(  Afterwards we all went out to lunch at La Parilla's to celebrate!

Ran the Hot Chocolate 5K in Atlanta this weekend with half my tennis team!

We arrived in Atlanta early Saturday afternoon, checked in at The Glen Hotel, grabbed some lunch at a sports bar nearby, and watched some of the Australian Open. Then we walked to the the conference center to get our 5K goodie bags and numbers. We each got a nice hoodie in a cute little reusable bag and enjoyed the booths with lots of little chocolate treats. Then we headed back to get a drink in the sky lounge, but it was closed. (The reason we chose that hotel was because they had a great view of the city. Interesting how they didn't mention the sky lounge would be rented out when we booked the rooms.) It was fine, we just hung out in the lounge on the main level and played "Cards against Humanity". Then we grabbed a cab and went to dinner at 2 Urban Licks. It's supposed to be one of the top 10 restaurants in Atlanta. When we got back, we walked around the city a bit and then went to bed at around 10:30. We had to get up at 5:30 am for the race. 

Early Sunday morning, we arrived at the race at 6:30. There were so many people running in it and so much excitement and energy in the air! After the race, they gave us a "finisher's mug" filled with hot chocolate, chocolate fondu, and some yummy treats to dip in the chocolate. They had a DJ and loud music playing with lots of people dancing and celebrating. We checked out of the hotel and grabbed lunch at Pappadeaux on the way home. It was a great way to kick off the tennis season. Spring season starts this week. Crazy how they call it "spring" when the season starts in January! Our first match is this Tuesday!

Keith went to see the boys play at the Caledonia Lounge in Athens this weekend!

A bunch of their friends came out to see them. The boys are going to take a break from playing in venues for a while because school and work schedules are so demanding right now. They are planning on recording some of their songs while they take some time off.

My 50th Birthday... trip to Highlands with my sisters!

My precious neice, Brandy, was able to join us the second day!

We can always count on our baby sister Natalie, to be the life of the party!

Then my beautiful sisters and niece showered me with gifts!

AND LOVE!!!

They completely spoiled me all weekend!

Thanks mom and dad for giving us each other! Ginger was with us in spirit, as always!!! Keith, my honey, was a sweetheart and booked and paid for the hotel for us. And all our awesome hubbies had some great daddy time with the kids while we were gone!
