Fun Weekend!

Saturday, Ellie had a friend sleep over. Then on Sunday, Keith and I and the girls went up to the tennis courts. Ellie and her friend played bad mitten. Later, Georgia and I took our girls to see "The Sound of Music" at the Oconee Civic Center. It was a high school play, but it felt more like a broadway musical. The acting and singing was so professional! Afterwards, we grabbed us some ice-cream and headed for the park. It was a gorgeous day! While we were gone, Keith went to pick up Emma's iPod touch. We finally got it fixed. She was beyond thrilled!!!

Later, Alex and Laurel came by for dinner. Drew and Haley were in Blairsville this weekend for Haley's dad's Birthday.

Mani-Pedi's with the Kopcha's

Renee took Wesley to get a haircut and Abby came over to hang out with Emma. We decided to watch "The Croods" and do mani-pedi's. When Renee and Wesley got back, Wesley was all ready for his mani. We gave him Hulk green nails with sharks on his thumbs. He wasn't too impressed with my sharks. In my defense, painting a shark with a toothpick on a teeny tiny thumb nail is not easy.

Ellie took pictures with her phone and made a video on flipagram. I just copy and pasted these pictures to my blog. So while it looks like several videos, they are all just pictures. Cali n' Tito's is a dive in Athens. The food is great. It's BYO, which is always a plus:) There is a play area for the kids filled with pebbles and tires. They occasionally have live music. This particular night, there was a guy that sang and played guitar. He was really good! Ellie dug all the change from my purse and gave it to him and thanked him on our way out. It was so cute!!!

Rainy Sunday...

Tyler and Emily took the girls to a movie today. They went to see, Nut Job. They brought Spud over to hang out with his buddy Buster while they were gone.

The day started with a trip to the ER. Alex had 2 bites on his arm that blistered up and a streak was coming from one of them. Turns out it was a weird strain of poison ivy. The college kids had spring break this past week. My boys hung out here, but the girls went to Cocoa Beach. 

Saturday, the skies were blue and it was a perfect 73 degrees! Keith got in a workout while the rest of us went to the courts and played tennis, rode bikes/golf cart, played on the playground... Everyone came back starving. I put out a veggie tray while Ellie and Emma helped me make Chicken Spaghetti and french bread for dinner. After we put the girls to bed Keith and I watched a movie with the "big kids".
