Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Update on boys
The 3 musketeers all got a seasonal job at Honey Baked Ham. One for all and all for one! They all have the same shifts too. Drew said that he loves glazing the ham because he pretends he's welding it.
My boys are so crazy! They do everything together! Last month, they thought they could get rich if they collected metal and sold it to the recycling place. They made a few bucks here and there, then they had a great idea to go to the railroad and collect all they metal scraps they found around there. They found tons of metal scraps and spent all day collecting it. They thought they were so clever, until they found out what they were doing was illegal. The recycling people said, "Man, we can't take this, this is government property!" The boys were like, "Oh, so that's why the homeless guys hanging around the tracks were laughing at us."

1st Annual Lane Creek Circle Block Party!
The Kopcha's, Norris', Quilter's, and Nicholson's each brought a dish to share to the cul-de-sac for a potluck last Saturday. We had chili and all the fixings, hotdogs, macaroni and cheese, salad, layered dip with tostitoes. The Bushes dropped by for a minute and we got to see their grandkids, Chaz and Amy. They have really grown! Renee made a scavenger hunt for the kids, which they loved! She's so creative and full of ideas! When it got dark, we headed out back to the fire pit for some smores. We had the outdoor speakers playing adult music, until the kids took over the tunes and had a dance party on the deck. I got lots of video footage, but the files are too big for the blog. The kids were all jacked up on smores and needed to get their wiggles out! It would have been a perfect night, but then the guys went inside to catch the end of the Georgia/Auburn game and it was all over. Tough loss for the dawgs.
