Outside we're all just ordinary jars of clay... but what if we took the time to look inside?

Don't challenge a kindergartener!
This morning as I was brushing Emma's hair before school, Emma said, "Is my skull showing?" I said, "What?" She repeated herself. I started laughing (which she really didn't like, but it was just so funny!) I figured out she wanted to make sure her hair was parted and her scalp was showing. She's too funny. Later she said, "Hurry mom, I don't want to miss the prayer at school." I said, "You pray at school?" She rolled her eyes and said, "Mom, the pledge of allegiance?" I said, "Oh, well honey that's not really a prayer, you are pledging allegiance to your country." She said, "No mom, it's a prayer, we put our hand over our heart." Okie Dokie then!

Drew fishing with the girls...
Drew started a new job, so he didn't get to join us in Florida for Spring Break. We really missed him! The girls got fishing poles for Easter while we were out of town and were dying to use them. When we got back, Drew took them to one of the lakes here in the neighborhood and they caught some fish! Drew said Emma's barbie fishing pole was actually a pretty good rod. I meant to get their picture after they came back from fishing, but they were all starving, so after dinner and baths I made them pose for me!
